April Foodzie Box

I've been a loyal fan and Foodzie sent me this - how cool is that? I heart them.

This month's tasting box was filled with lots of odd goodies. Plantain chips, oatey bars, horseradish mustard, cookies, spice cake, and granola. I was pleasantly surprised by the plantain chips and their addictive qualities similar to potato chips. They were actually pretty tasty, but sadly I don't see myself buying more.

These delicious bars reminded me of Seven Layer bars, except I couldn't entirely figure out what was in these...But very good.

Yet to be tested...

The first thing devoured. Two huge gingersnap cookies with a soft center. Not often do I get baked goods in my tasting boxes that are fresh and moist. Yes, I typed my least favorite word. Mark it down. But truthfully, these surprised me and had me back on the web searching for Liz Lovely.

These were oddly petite slices of spice cake. I can't say they did anything for me, but my roommate loved them. I think it's because it had an egg-like texture, which if you know me, eggs can make me cringe.

Not delicious. Very salty and savory. It didn't go well with my yogurt.
